Any company that makes a warranty statement such as the one Angler has speaks for itself.

I HAVE A 1999 180 ANGLER, SHE IS STRONG COMFORTABLE AND ONE HECK OF A SEA BOAT. ANY BOAT WILL GET CRACKS IN GEL COAT 1. BECAUSE OF ITS HARDNESS,2 BECAUSE OF TOURQE AND STRESS 3. BECAUSE OF THE WAY THE BOAT IS POWERED AND HANDLED. NO BOAT WILL STAY PERFECT FPR LONG AND THAT IS THE WAY IT IS.

I bought an Angler 220 W/A in March of '06 that was a leftover '05 model. It's a fantastic boat for the price, more expensive boats don't have the features of it. Angler's facilities are closer than the dealer for me and they have been extremely courteous and helpfull. They've fixed any problems quickly and under warranty. I see alot of old Angler boats around that look in good shape, makes me feel confident it'll last a long time.

Check out this boat for sale - www.huntingcorner.com/boats/boat-angler.htm Looks and sounds like a great boat - "This Angler has a totally new, hand laid, wood free hull. Backed by Angler's lifetime hull warranty, combined with the reliable Yamaha Outboards, this 2900 is fully equipped and will provide you with a carefree boating experience".
This couldn't possibly be from the same guy who's posted this website could it? Is it just me, or am I missing something? Either he thinks all anglers are c*** or he's discovered that his replacement 2900 is just dandy - can't have it both ways. It's probably fair to say that every manufacturer is guilty of producing the odd lemon or "Friday afternoon" boat. Angler appear to have done the right thing by this guy in giving him a replacement boat, yet he's still insistent on some type of deranged vendetta. Trouble is we're only hearing one side of the story here, but one thing's for sure, if you pay for an Angler (or Trophy or Sea Fox etc) you ain't going to get no Contender!

Gentleman looking for reason on the "explosive type holes in the T top after winter storage". Probably due to water in the tubing (frozen), melting and pressure... much like a frozen water pipe that thaws and ruptures... I've had my (used) Angler 2002 2900 CC for several years, no major problems. Previous boats were Intrepid 289, Searay Laguna, and Larson.

I have a 3100 Angler and do not have any of the problems you are talking about. It seems you were exagerating in order to get the new boat. You probably never maintained the boat or abused it!
