Hi I ran across your site while researching boats. We ended up buying an Angler first because we liked the layout and looks of the boat and second it was in our price range. The post from Ron Wolf at Coastal Marine also helped us in our decision to buy since they are the closest Angler dealer to us and his post was honest to the point and showed his knowledge of the boating industry. I hope I dont encounter the problems you did (so far so good) but I am not worried as Ron will stand behind what he sold. We are looking forward to our first summer on our Angler 204FXLE and the only advice I can give is not only do you have to pick a brand dont forget picking your dealer is also very important. Happy Angler and Coastal Marine customer Brian Culbertson

Every boat will have some problems.Im the second owner of a 03 2100 WA.I dive off this boat alot, and take it across the S.B. channel all the time over to Santa Rosa.Any body who knows will tell you that this channel, and going across to Rosa is no joke. The boat rides dry ,and smooth, even full of dive gear.It maxes out in a 4'wind swell that is very steep.I'm really happy with the performance of this boat.Except for a few small areas around the top of the rail where i've been dragging the tanks on and off I haven't had any problems with the gel coat.I think this guy just had a bit of bad luck, and got a lemmon. He really doesn't need to slam Angler, because they did right by him.

I have a 2005 204fxle. My ttop did the same thing blow out. Angler replaced the ttop no questioned asked. Ps. My buddy who is an engineer said that the blowout was due to freezing. That in fact the drain holes got plugged and the water was unable to escape. He said this was not fault of**lers as i decided to go fishing on the Hudson in Mid March when it was 30 degrees. Angler even through in a free electronics box. My gel coat has gone bad ina few spots. I'll see what they do next but so far i'm happy.

WOW! What a butt! I've owned 2 Anglers and let me tell you they are GREAT boats. I'm the second owner of my current 25' CC and I had some very minor issues with it. I spoke to the guys at the Miami boat show and they told me to bring it in and they would honor the fixes under warranty. Again, I'm the 2nd owner! They did not have to do that. These are very well made boats and the company more than stands behind it's product. This site is over the top and no one in their right mind should pay any attention to it! I would highly and proudly recommend Angler boats!!

Have owned an Angler 204 for several years and am happy with it and proud to own it. This guy needs to get a life!! NASA spent billions on the space shuttle...and its gone down twice. The reality of life is that anything made by human hands can have a problem. For this guy to focus this much anger at Angler because of a "perceived" defect is ludicrous!! I would never have given him a new one... And for the people who are reading these moronic ramblings....consider the source...t5his guy has got to be a nut job!!
