I've personally fished, dove and beat the sh*t out of Seacrafts, Avantis, Makos, SeaVees, and Whalers that are all 1993 or later and have less cracks and gelcoat issues then these boats. The 33' Avanti I speak of was water kept for more then 8 years and was used as a rental/charter boat but its on its 4th set of engines. Two Seacrafts (1991 23'/1989 21') that are used every weekend come hell or high water. I took a 1992 23 Mako night fishing two nights ago in 10-15knot winds and the boat didn't even shutter when we hit 8 footers head on. The 1992 23' SeaVee was used as a commercial lobster boat and has its third engine on the back. Not one of these 17 year+ boats even show a sign of cracking any where near the transom. Yes the have small stress cracks in some places but, nothing that looks like that Angler. All the transoms are solid there is not one crack on any of them. These boats that I speak of were not taken care of, they were water kept, and no one slowed down to take the waves yet the transoms and hulls are still as solid as the day they were purchased. The bottom line is you get what you pay for. Anglers are cheap for a reason. Angler boats have to put stickers on the side that say LIFETIME WARRANTY so that uninformed consumers would purchase them. They use cheap tricks and hide behind fine print. If you wanted a good boat you should have looked at what the charter and commercial fishermen use: Contender, SeaCraft, SeaVee, Whitewater, Mako, Yellowfin, Boston Whaler and a couple more.

Comments: Wish I would have seen this before I bought my boat. In answer to strange occurrence. I had the same problem but not as drastic. Angler or who ever put the T top on forgot to put a weep hole in the one handrail on the structure and it froze from within, cracked and left a similar hole. Hope this helps but with the cost of repair left solely to the owner it probably don't .Sorry.

. Own a 2008 2600CC Twin optimax 150's
Angler Boats has no manual to supply to the owner. They don;t make one for the 2600 CC I guess they don't have one for any of the other models.
I have been a Captain on Charter Boats in my past. I 'LL be dog goned if I can make any sense of the wiring. Cant find a fuse panel or circuit breaker box anywhere. 2 batteries with dual switches is very confusing. You would think a small boat should be no problem to figure out. Dealer does not know the boat either. Angler was called for help, they said that it saves the customer money to have no manual. Can you imagine any boat builder saying such a thing? Boat rides nice, fishes well, a good boat when everything was working. The electrical problems have become to much for me. Need help in locating a few things.
Anyone own a 2600CC? Need a Wiring diagram.

I have a 22 Walk Around with a 200 Mercury and the boat has been GREAT in regards to handling, hull integrity, gelcoat, and performance. My family and I have had a blast with it. From Bass fishing in the Atlantic or spending the weekend on the boat anchored in a cove. I am definately a fan and would undoubtedly buy one again. I am sorry to hear about some of the unfortunate incidents posted here.

I am the proud owner of a 2006 204 WA P.O.S.
Let me tell you about Angler Boats....and Mr.
Walsh the president. My boat was actually returned to HQ in Miami and returned in worst
condition than when I sent it. The gell-coat
has hundreds of little voids that burst and the
chimes are actually peeling. The most agrivating
part is the engineers at Angler placed the oil
tank under the helm station, the oil pick up is
constantly s***ing air getting on plain and that sets off the alarm..GOOD TIMES. Whos fault is that? Merc. says not theirs and so does Angler.
I give Angler 6 Months before they are forced
to close the doors.....than we all will be screwed.....THANKS MR. WALSH FOR STANDING BEHIND YOUR PRODUCT AND YOUR WORD!!!!!
