LA, Why is it that anyone who posts a positive comment about angler, you automatically say it is an angler employee? That is a pretty ridiculous assumption. I have had an angler for years that has been trouble-free. I am sorry you got a lemon, but that is between you and angler, and you have no right to post this stupid website just because you didn't get your way. I read the letter from Elio, but give an update. let us know, did you receive it yet? if so, are you happy with it? May 02, 2005

I found this web site looking for warranty info on my 2,002 252 angler due to the sale of this boat falling thru because of an inspection the new buyer had done simillar to a home inspector basically he said there is a large crack in the hull in the bilge area and its over 1/4 inch wide and 3' long as well as spidering completeley all over the boat. I hope that the hull warranty will fix this problem I plan to call angler on 5/8/05 and see what they say i will write back to after i hear. my cell if any one would like to team up if we have to uncle is peter angelos orioles owner and lawyer. he would represent us. Dear Smart ass:If you hate Angler boats with such a passion why did you accept a new boat when they replaced your old....one? Obviously you are a selfish ingrate. If Angler gave me another brand new boat as a trade in for mine I sure would be more than greatful. By the way I was the "unfortunate" person who bought your "old, Piece of **** boat" and I put twin 250 Yamaha's and I am as happy as I could be with the boat so far. I have been to the Bahamas on the boat with no problems at all. The boat runs better than any other boat I've owned before, It's a shame that the first owner was just a big jackass and probably never even took a minute to take care of a his boat. Boats are bound to have minor problems. May 09, 2005

If someone deserves attention from a dealer/manufacturer it must be you.It seems you've been getting jerked around. I'm so sick of companies screwing the consumer it just makes me want to puke. Look at any successful company and I'll bet customer service is one of their top priorities. It doesn't seem to me, from what I've seen here that it's a top priority in the case of Angler. The time your boat sat and the lack of response to you as a customer is what bothers me.Angler, put yourselves in this customers shoes. Sorry to hear about your problems with Angler. I do not base my opinions on a boat soley on one persons opinion, but I do appreciate the info and will definately keep it in the back of my mind for the future. I had very similar problems with my former Sea Fox. I didnt take the time to spread the word like you are, but I applaud you and wish you luck. May 12 2005

Thanks for sharing your experience with Angler Boats--I might of expected that type of workmanship from Bayliner but what a surprised a $120K Angler. Alot of boats are crap these days, I guess I'll stick with buying a used quality Contender or Regulator instead of going with new, but unknown. I'm sure Angler makes plenty of good boats and happy customers, but Contender or Regulator wouldn't let a boat out there like that have their name on it. Thank you for sharing your experience. I'll never buy an Angler (I am a boat owner and will be for life). May 12, 2005

Very detailed listing of an inferior product, I commend you on expressing your loss so others are informed. I will not buy an Angler, thanks for the heads up. May 13, 2005

I can't believe the people badmouthing you. If I had paid 120k from this company and was not completely satisfied with their implied warranty or response to my issues you can bet I would be steaming. If it was me and I had gone through that I would probably want to sell the new boat before problems began with it and get into another boat. I have never had problems like that with any of my boats, and especially that soon. That is plain ridiculous for the amount paid for the boat. Good luck and here is hoping you have better experiences very soon. May 13, 2005

I bought mine in Bellmore long island in 1989...as I said it was a great boat and is still going strong with a 175 merc on it. I believe every company puts out a lemon and they should stand behind the warranty and replace it....I don't believe Anglers are crap boats in general. In fact If you look it up in the NADA re-sale value book Angler has a higher re-sale than many boats including Proline/Sea Hunt/Sea Fox/ Sea Pro...and others I can't recall now. I thin the main issue here is the lemon boat that the list owner purchased should have been replaced in full..and he is trying to give a good company in general some payback time.by giving them bad press...too bad this couldnt have been resolved because as I have stated Angler is a long time good boat company (30 years in the business) and I hate to see them trashed for one bad boat.
