Angler, 1st time boat owner; but what is going on with this thread about Angler Boats. I'm slightly worried but so far am happy with my small investment. Andy May 12, 2005

I bought a 2200 Grande Bay in 2002 and I have had the same problems with the inside of my hatches. Spider cracks everywhere and a major crack in the side of the console. The pumps for the floor boxes and live wells (which slosh right out of the hatches - angler ever heard of chimes in an oversized livewell??) only lasted about 14 months. Sad because the Grande Bay could be a great boat if better designed and properly built. April 13, 2005

Looks like this guy LA is after a quick buck with sponsors and went through all this trouble to make this web site! Or the other boat manufacturers are afraid they cant compete with the great package deals the Angler Corporation offers so they came up with this great idea of a website with the hopes of protecting their over priced boats and extremely high profit margins!!!!! Always the big companies trying to drown the small business man!It just hurts consumers. If you beleave the claims of this web site I have some awesome beach front proerty in Las Vegas at a great price! April 18, 2005

I stumbled on the Angler on one of the Boat Trader sites and noticed what appeared to be an exceptional deal on a model "left over " now it makes a little more sence. Buy a Whaler. April 23, 2005

Do not make a comment about a product you have never even owned or tested. Just because you read about it here, doesn't mean the boat or company is worthless so unless you have owned or tested and angler, shut up. This is one idiots point of view and probably half the stuff he says isn't even true. April 25, 2005

I bought a 21 ft w/around in 1987 from the only angler dealer in my area on long island....It was an outstanding boat that I used offshore and inshore on long island for 12 years...I sold it to my neighbor in 1999 and he has used it since with no major problems with proper maintenance. I now own a new 22ft w/around and it is performing just as well with no major problems...and by the way the inside of fishboxes is not finished fiberglass like the hull or deck...and occasional peeling is common in any boat unless the interioris "finished". Its obvious you have a beef with Angler but I can't stand by and watch you generalize a damn good boat compnay that has been around over 30 years...if your claims were true they would have gone out of business 29 years ago. If Angler is such a horrible boat why are you selling the 29ft cc on the internet to some unsuspecting customer...I suspect this is all about YOU...It appears Angler replaced your first boat with a new one and after all your bad mouthing of the company you are now selling it...I hope your prospective buyer has read all your whining in the website and you never sell it...I seems Angler did the right thing and you (according to all your "warnings" to consumers...are now selling an "Inferior according to you" product to some poor sap. VERY hypocritical...and by the way makes Angler look good and you look like the bad guy. but that is what I suspected from the beginning because I happen to own an Angler and have friends that own Anglers and all are very happy with the boats.
