Own a 2004 Angler 204FX LE with Merc 150 Saltwater series 2 stroke. All I can say is great boat. I have lake used it, use it out in the ocean from Long Island Sound to Barnegat bay. Been up off Boston and to Cape Anne in swells post hurricane. The boat is fantastic, reliable and safe. Top speed 45-47 MPH. I have had absolute no problems except a burst live well/raw water wash down pump (my mistake - water left in it over winter and froze) and lights on the trailer. It is a nice, clean, solid boat. As a result I am upgrading to a 26CC. I highly recommend the Angler for those out there that don't need every bel and whistle. Added: November 21, 2009 |

German, do you have an alter ego? One page back you're saying you're very satisfied with your 25wa and saying "you get what you pay for" now 6 weeks later its falling apart - something doesn't ring true my friend. By the way, have you read the mercedes problems forums? If your Robalo is anything like some of those, I'd get rid of it pronto Added: June 27, 2009 |

Sounds like Tom has a point with angler having one of the best warranties. I own a 204FX 2006 and had minor problems but dealer Fixed with no charge. I think the dealership has alot to do with your service. I dont belive it is the manufacture. Just my opinion. Added: June 26, 2009 |

Interesting website. I'm about to purchase a 204 FX and knew about the limited 5 year warranty to the second owner. Once I stumbled across your site and read your story, I clicked on some of the more expensive, extablished manufacturers that you make conveniently available for comparison. From what I can see the Angler hull warranty is BETTER that most of them including Boston Whaler and Carolina Skiff! Added: June 15, 2009 |

I own a 1997 18ft. cc anlger after twelve years it has withstood the test of time. Besides having some miner cracks and scratchs the hull seems to be in good shape and the wiring is not bad. I was looking into getting a new angler around 23ft. but after reading and seeing the flaws they now have i will be reconsidering. It really makes me want to know the answer to the question What are they now doing different in the production process? Added: May 30, 2009 |
