On
the link below you will see that the Angler Boat Corporation speaks about a
warranty and they stake their
reputation on it. But there is no warranty
page on Anglers website.
|
"Quote from Angler Boat Corporation Website" "Then, the latest HF+ (high flex plus) gelcoat is applied to the completed mold. This gelcoat provides a finish that will be free from the stress cracks that can appear as a fiberglass boat ages." |
Now look at their warranty:
|
As
seen on the Angler
Website
Is
it just me |
A
Real Angler Warranty 1.
There goes your resale value! |
It means you as the 1st
buyer have a limited warranty.
But if you sell your angler boat the new buyer has nothing.
(How is that for resale value?)
The warranty the original buyer has is very limited, so much so,
that Angler can claim any abuse and get out of their obligations to fix your
angler boat. (See above)
Although the warranty
"insinuation" is well displayed on Anglers
website and the back of their boats,
unless
you buy an Angler Boat it's likely you won’t ever see the warranty.
It’s not displayed on Anglers' website. So take a close look at this
one!
Should repairs be necessary,
the buyer must, at his own cost, ship the boat back to Miami, FL.
This is in most cases is prohibitive to the repairs needed. So in my opinion
you have no warranty
with the Angler Boat Corporation.
You should
also note, the Angler Boat
Warranty specifically states it does not cover their gelcoat
– and they DO have a problem with gelcoat peeling and cracking off!
You will also see the exclusion of all other parts of the boat.
